Giving Back With Heart: Why ICBB Creations Is Proud to Support The Caregiving Corner

At ICBB Creations, our work has always been about more than creativity. It has been about intention, connection, and using what we build to support something bigger than ourselves. That is why we are incredibly honored to be featured as a sponsor for a fundraising event benefiting The Caregiving Corner, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting caregivers through education, advocacy, and self-care.

A Caregiving Story That Began Early

Our connection to caregiving began long before ICBB Creations existed.

Growing up, we spent time helping our mom at the retirement home where she worked. From a very young age, we were exposed to the reality of caregiving — the patience it requires, the emotional strength it demands, and the quiet impact it has on the lives of others. Those early experiences planted a deep respect for caregivers and the work they do every day.

Turning Compassion Into a Career

At 18, that foundation turned into a profession. We began working as a caregiver in Southern California with Salus Homecare, supporting clients with a wide range of needs. Our work included caring for bed-bound individuals, assisting with daily living tasks, running errands, and providing companionship — often for clients who simply needed someone consistent and kind by their side.

Over the course of two years, we regularly juggled up to five clients at a time. Caregiving required flexibility, resilience, and commitment, and it often meant putting the needs of others first.

There were moments when the work came with personal sacrifice, including financial challenges, but the priority was always ensuring our clients felt supported, safe, and cared for. That experience reinforced a truth we still carry today: caregiving is not just a job — it is a responsibility rooted in trust and heart.

Why The Caregiving Corner Matters to Us

Because we have lived caregiving from the inside, The Caregiving Corner’s mission resonates deeply with us. Their focus on caregiver support and self-care is critical. Too often, caregivers give everything they have while neglecting their own well-being.

The Caregiving Corner recognizes that caregivers need care too — emotionally, mentally, and physically. That belief aligns perfectly with our values and our lived experience.

Supporting their fundraising efforts is our way of standing with a community we know firsthand and honoring the caregivers who quietly carry so much every day.
